Welcome to Positions. By playing the game, creating an account, or using this website (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About these Terms
These Terms are the rules for Positions itself — our game and this website. They are our own rules, separate from Roblox’s rules. Because Positions runs on Roblox, you must also follow the Roblox Terms of Use and Community Standards at all times. You are responsible for your account and everything done under it.
2. Accounts, Google Sign-In, Discord & Roblox linking
- You can create an account with an email/password, or by using Sign in with Google. If you sign up with Google, your username is taken from the first part of your Google email address, and your account has no password until you set one.
- If you sign in with Google using the same email address as an existing Positions account, that Google sign-in is linked to your existing account — you do not need to (and cannot) create a second account for the same email.
- If your account has no password set (for example, a Google-only account), you can only sign in with Google until you set a password from your Account page. If you set a password, you may then sign in using either your password or Google.
- Using Google Sign-In also means you agree to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for your Google account. We only receive your basic Google profile info (name, email) — never your Google password.
- Creating a website account requires linking your Roblox account. This lets us connect your website account to your in-game identity.
- You agree that your linked Roblox account may be used to identify you across the game and this website for moderation and account-standing purposes.
- Discord verification bot — in our Discord server, running
/promptasks you to log in with Discord (to confirm you own the Discord account that ran the command) and then with Roblox, to link your Discord account to your Roblox account and assign your Verified role. This uses the same Discord sign-in described below. - Optional Discord account link (website) — from your Account page, you may optionally log in with Discord to link a Discord account to your website profile. This is separate from, and not required for, linking Roblox or using the verification bot.
- Using Discord sign-in (for either purpose above) means you agree to Discord's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for your Discord account. We only receive your basic Discord profile info (Discord ID and username) — never your Discord password.
- Keep your login details private. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
3. Account standing & moderation
- We may issue warnings, bans, or other actions against your account if you break these Terms, the Roblox rules, or our in-game rules.
- Your account standing (good, warned, banned) may be enforced both on this website and inside the game.
- Moderation decisions are made at our discretion. We may change a standing at any time.
4. Fair play — no cheating
Positions is meant to be played fairly. You agree not to:
- Cheat or exploit — no hacks, exploits, injectors, auto-clickers, macros, scripts, or any third-party tools that give an unfair advantage or break the game.
- Abuse bugs or glitches for an advantage instead of reporting them to us.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other players.
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the game, this website, or our systems.
- Impersonate staff, developers, or other players.
Breaking these rules can result in your account receiving a notice, a suspension (temporary ban), or being terminated (permanent ban) from Positions.
5. Content & ownership
Positions and its assets, artwork, and code belong to the Positions development team. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without permission.
6. Early access — your data may be reset
Positions is in early access and is still being developed. Features, worlds, and rules may change, break, or be removed at any time.
Because we are in early access, your data may be wiped or deleted at any time, without notice. This includes website accounts, linked information, posts, and in-game progress such as levels or XP. We do not guarantee that any data will be kept, and we are not responsible for data lost during development, resets, or testing. Play and use the site knowing this.
We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
7. Children & parental consent
Positions may be used by people of all ages, including children. If a child creates or uses an account on our website, we assume that you — their parent or guardian — have given consent and permission for them to do so, and you agree to these Terms on their behalf.
To delete your child's account, the only way is to log into that account and press the “Delete account” button on the settings page. We do not delete accounts through any other method or request, because we cannot otherwise verify who owns the account. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the Service.
8. Complaints & governing law
All complaints, disputes, and legal notices must be sent to us by email at 1chenyipreal@gmail.com. We will try to resolve complaints informally by email first.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. You agree that any dispute relating to Positions or these Terms will be handled exclusively by the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service, including any data lost or deleted, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
